Thinking Song

I have what I call "thinking songs" - songs that make me go off into my own little world and just think. I have certain songs that when I hear them, I think of a particular place or a certain person and make me relive memories.

This song has been my thinking song since my Dad died. It's the tune itself more-so than the words that make me reminisce about my time with him.

Hope you like Tom Odell Another Love too. I had heard this song a lot in the background of programmes like the latest episode of Waterloo Road and on Britain's Got Talent and I'm glad I found out what it was.

  • Items will be given on a first come, first served basis.
  • Payment is be made within 24 hours or the item will go to the next interested person.

Sigma Mini Trio Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and Review

Sigma Mini Trio Eyeshadow Palette
Sigma Mini Trio Eyeshadow Palette
Sigma Mini Trio Eyeshadow Palette
Sigma Mini Trio Eyeshadow Palette

In the goodie bag from the Nottingham Bloggers Meet-Up, there was a mini eyeshadow trio palette from Sigma*. I believe these mini palettes contain one shade from each of the Dare palette, the Bare palette and the Flare palette and this palette contains the colours Publicize, Command and Surrender. I have never tried Sigma eyeshadows before but I'm afraid I was very disappointed with these eyeshadows. I knew Sigma were popular for their make-up brushes so I was hoping these would be good too.

The picture above is from rubbing my finger on the product many times and heavily swatching them on my hand and the colour pay-off is still not good. The pigmentation of these is very poor I'm afraid to say. I hate to be negative over a product especially when it was so kindly given to me for free but at the same time, I have always said I will be nothing but honest on my blog and will review everything truthfully. I want you to know whether a product is actually good or not. I don't want you wasting your money so I hope by being so genuine, you will know that whether I am reviewing a PR sample or not, you can trust my opinions. Anyway enough of that little disclaimer...

So back to the product in hand, the eyeshadows were also a little bit grainy so they weren't comfortable to work with either. The wear time on these was about average but they just aren't worth the money or the effort it takes to apply them. A full size palette from Sigma costs around £32.50 which, if I had spent that sort of money on eyeshadows of this quality, I would be crying lol.

If however you do like Sigma or even want to know where you can get their brushes in the UK, visit www.beautychamber.co.uk.
